All of the Brights

Top: ZARA, sold out| Pants: Old, similar HERE
Mules: TopShop, similar HERE & HERE
Photography by A. Robinson

Hey Babes,

How are things going for you? We've been in a near record-breaking heatwave for the past week. Not only are the temperatures on the high end, we're also getting a rare dose of seemingly intense humidity which feels like πŸ˜“πŸ˜“πŸ˜“
According to current forecasts, we will finish off the month on a high note. Summer is historically my favorite season, but this intensity has me dreaming of fall days, LOL!
Today's look features two shade cousins, red + orange. This is a slightly different palette approach to my main steady, monochrome. I love how well these two hues bounce off of each other! This encourages me to pair them together more often in the future, preferably under cooler temps πŸ’—
Until next time,
Xx

Color Crush

Headband: Similar HERE| Sunnies: Sold out, try this pair HERE| Earrings: HERE
Dress: HERE| Patent leather sandals: Similar HERE

RED is my favorite color of all time. The sight of it always serves as an instant mood booster. It is a reminder to appreciate the little things deeply, even something as simple as saturated color. Reminders like this feel more helpful now than ever.
As I look out at the uncertainty of the world scene, I feel compelled to do what I personally can to effect positive, lasting change. I feel encouraged to lean into hope, to repeatedly set an intention to lead with love.
Until next time,
Xx
P.S. For more examples of me in RED, see HERE, HERE, and HERE πŸ˜‰

Gingham Girl | Take 2 of 2

Earrings: Nordstrom, old; Another option HERE
Top: Old
Shorts: HERE (I'm wearing size 12)
Shoes: Old, other options HERE & HERE

Hey Babes,
I'm back with the 2nd way (see 1st way HERE) that I styled my newest pair of gingham shorts (see another pair styled HERE)! For this look, I opted to take a roll in blue by way of statement bauble earrings, a striped OTS (off the shoulder) top, plus blue satin/strappy heels.
Which look is your favorite - Take 1 or Take 2?
Until next time,

Off the Clock

Jumpsuit: c/o HERE| Purse: Old, another option HERE| Shoes: HERE + another option HERE

Hey Babes!
Today's look features a wonderfully comfortable sweater jumpsuit. I snagged it c/o the team at Fashion to Figure, and boy am I glad that I did! This onesie is perfect for transitioning temperatures. Spring fashion is heavily on my mind! This look was made for mild days x chilly nights πŸ˜‰The weight on the knit is noticeably substantial, overall it has a quality feel. My favorite features are the off the shoulder top, double stripe design, and the fitted ankles. This jumpsuit can be easily dressed up or down --> depending on your style needs and preferences. Remember: Personal style is about YOU!
For reference, I am wearing a size 0XL, which is similar to a US numerical size 12. The cut on this piece is generous, if you'd like it to fit tight versus relaxed, you may prefer to size down.
All in all, I was loved how everything came together! I'm curious, how would you style this jumpsuit?!
Until next time,
Xx

How to Style a Dress as a Shirt

Sunnies: F21| Dress: ZARA, alternative HERE
Jeggings: c/o Nic & Zoe + other options HERE
Shoes: Similar HERE

Hey Babes,
You've probably noticed that I’m all for wearing shirts as dresses (see HERE & HERE) but you may not know that I like to rock dresses as shirts too (see HERE)! I've said this time and time again on the blog, but it is totally worth repeating: Versatility is EVERYTHING🎯
I enjoy styling pieces that can serve a variety of style functions. This classic shirt dress is a great option for spring and summer. It's made of linen, which keeps you feeling nice & cool even when temperatures heat up. To wear it as a transitional piece - across seasons, I opted to style it with a pair of pants.
Remember: In fashion, everything is fair game. Wear what makes YOU feel GOOD.
Until next time,
Xx

Bubblegum PINK

Sunnies: Old, another option HERE| Blazer: c/o HERE
Shorts: Old| Sandals: Old, another option HERE
Photography by A. Robinson

Are you loving the blazer dress craze as much as I am?!!!
If you aren't familair with the trend, check out these cute options HERE, HERE, and HERE 😍
I'm all about wardrobe versatility, so I decided to wear a blazer from my current stash as a dress!!!
I styled it with a pair of shorts for additional length - otherwise, my valuables would have been on display 😁 There are soooo many options Babes to incorporate current trends into your style, using what you already have! Like, you can easily swap up out shorts, say for a mini dress.
All in all, I LOVE how this LOOK came together!
Why buy something new if you can utilize what you already have?!
Until next time,
Xx

Picnic Ready

Lippie: HERE| Sunnies: F21, similar HERE| Necklace: old, J. Crew
Top & skirt: c/o HERE (Use discount code FALLSHOW50)
Shoes:HERE
Photography by A. Robinson

One activity that I have not enjoyed this summer: A picnic! Because I tend to overdress wherever I go (is that really possible?😜) this look struck me as perfection for an afternoon picnic. RED is my favorite color of all time. I have no discomfort whatsoever in rocking it from head to toe in a monochromatic fashionπŸ’“
I styled this two-piece set as a dress because the length of the skirt was longer than what I imagined and the top was too short for my taste. If there's one thing that rings true when it comes to personal style- DO YOU!
Until next time Babes,

Photography by A. Robinson
A classic wardrobe staple is a midi skirt. The one featured in today's post stood out to me particularly because of its fabulous leopard print paired with red and pink hues 😍
I styled it in two simple ways that could totally be ideal for a summer day.
Which look is your favorite?! I'm forever partial to red...
Until next time,

Color Theory

Sunnies: Free People| Dress: c/o HERE| Shoes: Similar HERE| Purse: F21
Photography by A. Robinson

Is there anything more synonymous with SUMMER than sundresses?! Okay, maybe swimsuits, shorts, or picnics...but you get my drift πŸ˜‰ The weather has been unseasonably cool...I am trying to channel SUMMER weather and will it into existence! This sundress is lightweight, saturated in color, and topped off with functional buttons 😍 I see myself wearing pieces similar to it all summer long! Oh, and did I mention, it also has pockets!!!
Until next time,
