Today’s style story features a fun cotton candy-inspired tie-dye set from Lane Bryant. I love the soft pastel hues featured in this set! I am wearing the LIVI French Terry Sweatshirt along with coordinating LIVI French Terry Shorts. Both pieces are soft, with a relaxed fit. The top can also be worn tunic style, overlaying the shorts. I styled it tucked in to emphasize the paper waistband design on the shorts 😉

Tie-dye fashion originates from the 60-70s style era; however, it began to trickle onto modern-day runways back in 2019. By 2020, it made a full-on resurgence, ironically - during a year that will forever remain etched in our minds and hearts. Some have noted that tie-dye was a mood-boosting hobby during the pandemic, while others say it has an automatic feel-good factor when you wear it.

Tie-dye comes in a vast variety of colors and intensities; in fact, no two creations are exactly alike. LIVI (exclusively available at Lane Bryant) offers a wide assortment of tie-dye options. Currently, I am crushing on a jogging suit set (LIVI Sweatshirt + LIVI Metro Jogger) in Glacier Grey. I also like the LIVI French Terry Pullover Hoodie HERE. To take a stroll through all the tie-dye styles currently available at Lane Bryant, from tops to bottoms + dresses - visit HERE!

Over to you, how do you feel about the resurgence of tie-dye fashion?
Do you view tie-dye as a trend or style classic?

Until next time,

Happy first day of SPRING Beauties! The long-awaited “official” start of spring is finally here 😍
Is it just me, or is it also kinda surreal to believe that we actually we made it to this point? I mean the pandemic began one year ago this month – who could have imagined how much all of our lives would forever change within one year?! When I think about all that has transpired, I really do not have the words…
One of my favorite things about spring (in addition to the warmer weather that usually ushers in shortly behind its start) is the signal of fresh beginnings. During spring, everything comes back to life – trees begin to bloom, birds seem to sing louder, the grass turns green again. I am consciously shaping what type of narrative I will live out this season and setting fresh intentions in support of it.
Being active is a carryover list item from the previous two seasons, but its importance has not diminished. If anything, opportunities to put it into practice have increased. With warmer weather and longer days I can spend more time outside. LIVI Active (exclusively available at Lane Bryant) is ideal for running errands, taking walks, and working out. What I love about this set from the line is that it totally dubs as loungewear, I can easily & comfortably wear both pieces around the house! Another pointer that also drew me to this set is the color, Lane Bryant calls it Oatmeal Heather – I love the way it looks up against my skin.
Did you notice that I styled the top in three differing ways? You know I live for versatility! 1st I styled it outside of the shorts like a tunic with a side knot, then I styled it fully tucked in, and lastly I styled it as a mock crop-top with side ruching and a knot. Which style is your favorite?
You can shop this duo HERE & HERE --> plus it’s currently on SALE!!!
Until next time,

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!!!
The star attraction today is a lightweight, button-down, green floral dress. I love the versatility of classic button-down dresses! This one is perfect for spring & summer. It is light, flowy, and unlined. As I do with all new additions to my wardrobe, I took some time to think about how I wanted to style it. For starters, I went with styling it simply as a dress (paired with a blazer), then as a kimono (paired with a jumpsuit), and lastly as a shirt (paired over shorts). Which look chronicled above is your personal favorite? Thanks so much to LOFT for helping us get into a "SPRING" state of mind!
Until next time,
Xx
