The month of April has literally flown right on by - I cannot believe that we are just one day shy of entering into May 2018! Chapter 4, AKA April was one choked with highs and lows. Nonetheless, I feel quite resilient and optimistic about the months ahead! I try remember whenever I am going through a blue leg of the journey: No storm lasts forever; Every storm has an ending 😉
Since I've been in a blue/blah mood, it's totally fitting that I should turn to denim for comfort right?! LOL! Seriously, you just cannot go wrong with denim. This off the shoulder top is actually a thinner variation of denim, often referred to as chambray and the material of the skirt is called tencel. I like that both pieces are not as dense as regular denim, therefore making them ideal for spring and summer weather. Babes denim skirts are making a comeback - and I am HERE for it!

Hey Babe,

I hope you enjoyed a fantastic weekend! I indulged in 'me time' to the fullest, and even managed to get in a few shots of a newbie to my wardrobe, a pale pink suit from Premme! 

When I spotted this suit online earlier this month, something about it spoke to me. It said: "Purchase me!" 😁😁😁 I was a bit iffy about which size to order, you just never know how sizes will run when you try out a brand for the very first time. I went with a size "1", as I wanted a more relaxed fit - and wouldn't you know, I was right on! 

This suit is very well made, the fabric is soft (trousers are unlined), and it is a delightful shade of pink. The biggest shocker: It has real pockets! Not only on the trousers but also on the pants!!! Seeing that I am a lover of pockets (especially functional ones), this feature is a win/win in my book- whoo hoo! For starters I styled it 3 ways, with the following themes in mind:

* What not to wear to the office
* Boss Babe
* Semi-formal night

Which one is your favorite? Meanwhile, I haven't quite decided...

Happy Friday Babes!!! Today's post features a stunning,RED, knit, off the shoulder dress, teaming with frills, ribbed details, and scalloped edges.... Can we just call it FUN for short?! I live for FUN clothes 😍 They rank highly - as in neck and neck -with pieces that I categorize as providing a serious happiness factor (read more about that HERE). I snagged this beauty per a recent shipment from Gwynnie Bee (learn more about them HERE + get a free trial offer) when I took it out of the box the very first things that I noticed was its intense red hue. Ladies, you cannot go wrong with a GOOD red piece!

Free Flowing

I was reminded of my adoration for palazzo pants a few months ago when I spotted a fantastic pair in lemon print online (blogged HERE). Shortly thereafter I came across  another pair in basic black, I knew that I needed to add them to my collection pronto. When they arrived in the mail I initially thought I might have to have the length altered. Imagine my surprise and elation when I tried them on - the fit AND the length was a perfect match for my body 😍 Despite their dark hue, the pants are wonderfully light weight. I was cool and comfortable (and feeling very cute 😉) on a day where temperatures soared up to 85 degrees.
For their grand debut out, I paired them with a knit, mustard colored halter top, along with tropical print fabric slides. Next time around I'm already planning to pair them with a black OTS bodysuit... Thank you to YOURS Clothing for another delightful find ❤
My one style wish: That these pants were designed with pockets.

Boho by Day

This weekend officially kicks off the start of Festival Season, I'm totally prepared to see bohemian style goodness in an abundance.
While on my regular weekly stop at Marshalls, I spotted this white cotton dress with beautiful embroidery in the Juniors area. That's right, it was in the Juniors section! Have you ever shopped for yourself in the Juniors section of a store? I know I can't be alone 😊 
I often peruse it when I am specifically looking for trendy styles versus classic attire. Another bonus is that the prices points are usually considerably lower, for example this dress was only $15!
I knew w/o trying it on that the fit would be just as I envisioned. For an afternoon out and about, I paired it with orange fringe earrings, a white tote, and blue bow embellished slides. I love that this look has a boho vibe, but isn't quite over the top enough to be considered true festival attire 😁
