Mixed Prints: Navy Polka Dots Dipped in Lemonade

It's Friday! What are your plans for the weekend? We just returned from our anniversary celebration (outfit post coming next week)! I'm looking forward to getting some rest, which I never seem to get enough of.
Today's post features mixed prints, one bold and one subtle.
I am really taken by the practice of mixing prints that don't necessarily match.
I dig through my closet regularly, searching for new print combinations that I haven't previously considered.
In cooler temperatures, I think I'd like to pair this combo with a bright colored coat.
I don't know why, but I feel like it's missing a spot of color.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  10. I really like how you mixed the prints, the yellow print is so subtle I barely noticed it at first but they work so great together. I love seeing how people mix prints together because it's something I'm not really good at. Oh and like everyone else said your photos are beautiful, the background is great. :)

    1. Thank you Nina! I've been working at it - it doesn't come easy to me either. I find that subtle prints are a tad easier to work with.
