So I decided
to post this outfit, although in all honesty, I’m not entirely pleased with it.
Why? In my opinion, it looks quite differently on camera than it does in person.
Is that possible?
Here’s the look
I was going for: chic, with an intentional messy pony. What I felt it looked like on camera: Sloppy
hair, and ill-fitting skirt L
Where did the
disconnect occur? In the mirror I was totally pleased, and even received a
number of compliments at the office. Has this ever happened to you?

Disenchanted

Thanks Claudia!
DeleteI think it's cute F. Joi!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ang! I guess it's easier to pick out flaws looking at pictures, I wasn't happy with any of them O_o
DeleteI think the skirt is nice. Try styling it with a solid top, or a striped tee that is more black with subtle white stripes. The shoeties are really cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks Glenda! Usually I pair it with a solid top, but this time I wanted to wear mixed prints. I think more subtle stripes would be a nice alternative.
DeleteSorry, but where or what exactly are you looking at? Cos I'm not seeing no ill-fitted skirt nor messy hair! What I see is a gorgeous looking woman in a beautiful outfit that suits her very well and I like it and that's honest. Have a blessed weekend Ms Joi!

Aw, thanks Missy. I think when I looked through all the photos, it just seemed like the look I envisioned didn't come across seamlessly. I received a comment on my FB page that perhaps it's easy to pick out flaws when scrolling through pictures, and I think that rings true in my case o_O. Nonetheless, it is, what it is! I hope you had a FAB weekend!
