I am a fan of colors as bright as they come, but every now and then, I drift over to grey. This dress is actually quite dressy.
I set about styling it in a way that is more practical for day to day wear. How?
Well it may sound a bit silly, but first, I wore it backwards. You see, the front of this dress has a low plunge and unnecessary fussy details. I wanted it to look like a plain a-line dress. To accomplish that, I need to play down the details.
To conceal the front, which was actually the back, I wore a grey pinstripe vest. Next I added a handful of pearls, footless fishnets, and matching Mary Jane peep toe heels.
Finally, to completely seal the deal, I added grey bangles and a small handbag to match my footless fishnets.
There are only a few pieces in my current wardrobe that I purposely wear infrequently. Aside from those exceptions, I wear all of my "good" clothes. In my opinion, there is no time better than the present to enjoy the best of what I have, from dishes to clothes!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Xx
