Have  you ever had an off week – the kind of week that was so eventful at the beginning of it that it felt like it should be the end of it already? That is exactly the kind of week that I am having 👀😖😣 Like nothing super major has blown up in my face, rather a bunch of little things have mightily compiled to form one ginormous snowball… I feel completely wiped out! Nonetheless, "the show must go on"- or so I constantly tell myself…I think it is high time for me to reintroduce my weekly candlelit bath series. After all it is fall! I always feel wonderfully relaxed after a steaming hot, minimum hour long, candlelit milk bath. Just thinking about it as I type this post already has me feeling more relaxed.
About today’s look: I paired hues of blush with shades of yellow for a somewhat chilly afternoon in the city. It’s funny that prior to moving to LA I would have never pictured wearing faux fur, a coat, and summer sandals all together! LOL! A perfect example of why one should never say never. It is an unorthodox combo, but somehow it feels right and works for me 😊
Until next time,
Xx

    1. Thank you Anna! Mustard yellow and blush are an unlikely duo, but I really LOVE the way they look up against one another.

  8. You've had an off week, and I'm wondering where the week has gone! I could use a candlelit milk bath too. I just discovered our mall has a LUSH now, so maybe I'll be popping in for reinforcements for those inevitable off weeks to come.

I really like the play of yellow and pink tones in this look. Not a color combo you'd expect for transitioning to fall, and yet the textured pieces really make it at home in the autumn season. Also, I'm obsessed with the pink pleated skirt. Hopping over for more details on that one right now!

    1. I'm wondering where has the month gone?! LOL!!! CANNOT believe we are already in the 1st week of October! A priority on my fall to-do list for self-care: Long baths whenever possible :)
The pieces that made up this look were different in a number of ways, but I love how it came together. The skirt is definitely a winner, I'm totally 2nd guessing my decision to return it to GB...

  14. I love your outfit. Been searching for a pleated skirt like yours for a while but as I'm quite short I'm worried it'd look too "mumsy" on me. It looks great on you

    1. Thank you Elena! I too felt hesitant about the length (knee length would be my ultimate preference) but as it turned out, I loved it! The amazing thing about using Gwynnie Bee: I get to sample styles that I may feel "iffy" about without purchasing them :)
