Denim Lovers, featuring LANE BRYANT

Poplin Wrap Top: c/o HERE
Super Soft Super Stretch Skinny Jean - Ruffle Hem: c/o HERE

This post is sponsored by Lane Bryant. All opinions shared belong solely to me.

Hey Babes! How are you surviving WINTER 2019?! It's been raining for what feels like forever in my neck of the woods. Don't get me wrong, rainy weather serves a benefit, however Los Angeles simply is not built for rain! 😩 I had to dodge raindrops to get a few shots in this look over the weekend. Thankfully, the rain offered a  brief reprieve - we made the best of it ❤
Today's post features a denim loving look c/o my friends at Lane Bryant. The Poplin Wrap Top is soft/subtle gingham print, it appealed to me because I am beyond ready for SPRING! Gingham makes me think of warmer days. In my opinion, it is never too early to pull in gingham prints, even under layers if need be 😏 We have to wish warmer weather into existence, right?! When the weather warms up, I can totally see myself wearing this top on repeat! For its initial debut I paired it with fun Stretch Skinny Jeans that are embellished with a raw-cut cascading ruffle hem. The ruffle hem adds in just a touch of feminity - I LOVE feminine details! Small details can really take an item up a notch and add in an additional wearability factorπŸ˜‰Do you love feminine touches?!
BIG NEWS:
Lane Bryant is hosting The Denim Event this Saturday (2/9/19)!!! I'll be in attendance for the event at Westfield Culver City!!! Are you planning to stop by? You should! You can score 40% off all denim, get a free panty w/ any denim  purchase, and enter to win giveaways 😍

Until next time,
Xx

A classic yet simple weekend wear consists of great fitting denim paired with a top that has visual interest.
really ❤ the top that I am wearing in today's post. Notice how the lace overlay almost gives the appearance of a shrug? Too cute! It is easily paired with practically anything. In full transparency, the bodice is a bit short on my torso... I wish that it would have been designed as a bodysuit 😏Nonetheless, I made it work!
If you follow me on Instagram you may remember my rant about great fitting jeans a few months back. As a result, I had an opportunity to try out a brand that is new to me: Mott & Bow. The jeans that I am wearing in today's post are from them, after figuring out my size (14) I happily took them out for a spin (High Rise Skinny - Jane). Overall I was happy with the fit! I've since lost a few pounds and might have been better served w/ a size 12...however the fit at the time that I ordered them was on point! I'd love to see more high waist/skinny style options from the brand πŸ˜‰

PSA: Any excuse to play dress up will always be utilized πŸ˜‰ I'm loving this two-piece set from MPT! I kept it simple for it's grand debut, however next go around I want to split the pieces up and style the bustier with  jeans 😏

Sparkle Away

dress: c/o HERE -->Save $$ w/ code INMYJOIxSONCY
shoes: old, another option HERE

Hey Babes!!! I'm back in another sparkly number (previous post HERE) 😊
Let's just say that I will be rocking a few sequin pieces before this year ends...
About this one: Isn't it clear?! This dress is party ready! I ABSOLUTELY love the fit (I'm wearing a size 0) and the overall style aesthetic πŸ˜ Stripes, sequins, and a thigh-high split- what's not to love? TBH, the high split caught me off guard...based on the images online, I expected more coverage...Nonetheless, I was not deterred! I added in a slip for added coverage πŸ˜‰ Personal style is all about improvising according to your needs and preferences.

Time to Shine, featuring LANE BRYANT

Stone Cluster Hoop Earrings: c/o HERE
Sequin Fit & Flare Faux Wrap Dress: c/o HERE
Tall Ankle-Strap Heel: c/o HERE

This post is sponsored by Lane Bryant. All opinions shared belong solely to me.

If there's a particular month of the year where sequins and glittery glam is considered amongst dressing norms, I'd definitely have to say it is DECEMBER! Yes, the season to sparkle and shine is NOW! After work affairs, cocktail hours, dinner parties... you get my drift... they all provide fabulous opportunities to rock sequin items with ease.
I'm excited to partner up with Lane Bryant this month to showcase a gorgeous option for your next dressy affair: A stunning sequin fit & flare faux wrap dress. I love its beautiful rose gold hue, high-low hem, and cascading ruffle which accentuates the faux wrap closure. It comes with a nice black grosgrain ribbon belt. I tied mine in a bow, because, well you know - I love feminine details 😍
This dress is a total statement piece on its own accord - I kept accessories to a minimum by adding in matching rose gold stone cluster hoop earrings and a classic black ankle-strap heel. The earrings are super lightweight and a perfect match. The classic heel is an easy add-on and super versatile.
Thinking out loud: If temperatures were a bit cooler and or I wanted to give this dress a more casual flow, I'd style it with a black blazer (topped with a furry scarf), and black OTK boots πŸ˜‰
Over to you Babes: How would you style this beauty?
Until next time,
Xx

Sleeve Patrol

earrings: Free People (these are super cute too)| dress: c/o HERE| suede pumps: DSW

It's no secret that I l❤ve an off the shoulder number (see HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE just for starters), the fact that this festive dress is adorned with colorful stripes and fabulous statement sleeves makes it all the better. I consider it perfect for a cocktail themed event and or a night out on the town.
Initially, I planned to style it with black sandals... but at the last minute I decided to play up the turquoise colored stripes by adding in matching statement earrings (that I've never worn) and a classic suede pump.
I totally love how this look came together, I'm looking forward to wearing this fit out on the town πŸ˜‰

Fall is in the Air

sunnies: similar HERE| denim jacket: Michael Kors, similar HERE| dress: c/o HERE| shoes: old| purse: Coach, vintage - another option HERE

Cooler temperatures have arrived in Southern California. In fact, rain is in the forecast imminently 😨
I really do enjoy the rain 😍 Unfortunately, I don't enjoy driving in it alongside millions of people who don't know how to drive in dry conditions let alone wet conditions...
Nonetheless, it is crystal clear that a fall-like feel has settled into the air. I'm transitioning my summery pieces into fall-ready attire. An easy way to do that? Add in denim πŸ˜‰
I love pairing florals with denim, today's look is an easy take on fall style in a mild climate. If the temps were lower than say 65 degrees Fahrenheit, I'd add socks with my sandals ❤
Until next time,
Xx
