In the Zone: Denim on Denim

Hi there! I took a break over the long weekend (I actually 'Logged off'), and now I am back in action and fully rejuvenated :) Stepping away from social media and such from time to time are essential for me.
There are moments in life that are best enjoyed in the moment, and savored - versus captured, and or 'liked'. I hope that you too were able to spend time with people you love, creating wonderful memories!
Notice anything different? You guessed it, I dyed my hair! I was a blonde for 4-5 years (all over, not highlights or streaks), basically until I got bored with it. After a good break from it, I started to crave a blonde streak again. So, over the weekend I picked up the needed supplies and gave myself a new look, including a two inch trim ;)
Today's look is a twist on the standard denim on denim approach. I scored this combo at Nordstrom Rack.
Although each piece is from separate brands, they actually compliment one another well.
Betsey Johnson accessories added another dimension of fun to the fit;I capped off the look with Michael Kors leopard print stilettos.
It's a perfect ensemble for an evening out on the town.
Here in Los Angeles summer temperatures generally cool down in the evenings, and it can even get somewhat nippy.

Well my lovlies, that's all I have for today. Until next time!
Xx

  1. This is a hot outfit! I love the acid wash denim with the gleaming statement necklace. I think you could swap out tons of different, colorful, bejeweled statement necklaces, and they'd all play against the denim beautifully. With the leopard pumps, it's just a fierce, fun look overall! I'm glad you too unplugged and had a laid back weekend with loved ones. We were on the road for the past week or so, traveling around seeing friends and family, and while I missed my blogging, it was great to get off the grid and just enjoy time with the people we care about most.
